The
person who opens perception sufficiently to completely accept him or herself
and admit the full spectrum of intellectual, emotional and spiritual possibilities
is depicted in Level 3.
This person makes great use of intuition to enhance learned knowledge
and the rational mind. Judgmental thinking is replaced by a discriminating
mind, allowing for the acceptance of ambiguity and the appreciation of
diversity, reducing the need for control. This lets in more of the variety
of reality, permitting a wider range of experiences and allowing comfort
with uncertainty. Dualities seem no longer to require either-or decisions.
They complement one another, allowing for a wider range of opportunities
and more choice. There is less need to alter the environment to fit internalized
concepts of what should be; the concepts can be changed instead. Such
a person plays a starring role in his or her life and directs the movie
as well.
